Every great festival takes you somewhere, but Rockstar Energy presents TRNSMT 2026 is taking you on a journey to the past, the present and the future. The festival will hurtle fans through decades worth of anthems, current bangers, and performances from future stars – all ready to provide even more exciting, unforgettable live music moments than previous years.
As soon as you set foot on Glasgow Green next June, you’ll feel the electric pulse of the festival. Iconic anthems sit side by side with fresh new talent and modern-day hitmakers, creating a lineup that celebrates the full spectrum of today’s music culture. TRNSMT 2026 isn’t about looking back - it’s about looking forward while enjoying everything in between.
Each day provides a mix of stars from the past, present and future.
FRIDAY
As well as the iconic headliner Richard Ashcroft on the Friday, Nile Rodgers and CHIC will take the crowd on a nostalgia trip with songs like Good Times and Le Freak, plus The Beta Band bring their beloved, genre-bending sound to the festival in 2026.
Wolf Alice will touch down at TRNSMT fresh from their worldwide tour, ready to showcase their critically acclaimed 2025 album, The Clearing. Also performing on day one is Dylan John Thomas, the beloved Glaswegian singer-songwriter whose raw and real lyricism has cemented him as a must-see act amongst locals, as well as those travelling to the festival from further afield.
Friday also shines a spotlight on the future. The alt-rock quartet NewDad will deliver their hazy, atmospheric sound, and crowds won't know what's hit them after experiencing the playful lyrics and rich sounds of LuvCat. Cliffords will also step onto Glasgow Green, ready to unleash their unbelievable sounds and win over thousands of fans.
SATURDAY
Saturday night headliners, Kasabian, will ignite crowds with their futuristic rock energy, providing an unforgettable high-voltage performance. Sonny Fodera will make his Scottish festival debut, dropping summer dancefloor beats that will stick with you throughout the rest of 2026.
Scottish legends The Fratellis will be welcomed to Glasgow Green with open arms as they celebrate 20 years of their iconic album Costello Music. Fan favourites, The Snuts, will bring their anthemic Scottish indie sound, while Loyle Carner delivers his thoughtful, soulful hip-hop. The Last Dinner Party, one of the most excitng acts in the UK right now, will bring their signature emotional depth and theatrical flair to Glasgow Green, plus the brilliant English Teacher are bound to impress crowds with their perfect mix of post-punk guitar, dreamy vocals and intelligent lyricism.
Acts that had no trouble making their mark throughout 2025 will also be play the festival - Rose Gray, Clementine Douglas and Big Special will all deliver outstanding performances on day two.
SUNDAY
The final headliner, Lewis Capaldi, returns to Glasgow Green for an unforgettable performance filled with unbelievable vocals and wit, perfectly encapsulating the incomparable Scottish feel of TRNSMT 2026. The rest of the Sunday lineup rounds out the festival with a powerful blend of established icons and future favourites.
Amy Macdonald’s unmistakable vocals and Scottish storytelling, plus Two Door Cinema Club’s infectious indie-electronic anthems, will provide the perfect all-day sing-along party to your favourite songs, both past and present.
Irish pop princess CMAT emodies the sound of the here and now, and is set to light up the stage with fan favourites like Take A Sexy Picture Of Me, I Wanna Be a Cowboy, Baby! and EURO-COUNTRY, giving the crowd the perfect excuse to dust off their dancing shoes. Perrie will debut as a solo artist at TRNSMT 2026, offering even more pop brilliantness and earth-shattering vocals.
Sunday will feature exciting performances from Katie Gregson-MacLeod, Red Rum Club, South Arcade, Overpass and Westside Cowboy, giving fans a taste of the sounds shaping the next era of music.
