Not too long ago you played the iconic OVO Hydro in Glasgow supporting Kip Moore, are you looking forward to being back in Scotland?
I had a blast playing the Hydro with Kip Moore earlier this year. Such a dream come true. Very excited to be back in Scotland and this is my first time playing in Edinburgh so I am looking forward to it.
Is there an album that changed your life?
Not many people know this, but the Hunter Hayes album from 2011 first got me into country. I also love Luke Combs, Dylan Gossett, and Morgan Wallen. I started posting country covers on TikTok a few years back and that is how it started for me.
You just released your new track ‘Shoulders I Stand On’ which you’ve said is your most personal song yet, celebrating your friends, family, and being proud of where you came from in Northern Ireland. The Scots are a bunch of very patriotic people too - how does it feel to be playing somewhere where you can really connect with the audience?
Shoulders I Stand On is all about where I come from and the people who have supported me. It is extra special coming back home to the UK and playing the song live because that is my home. These are the people that have supported me and allowed me to chase this dream.
You’ve had a crazy couple of years, going from playing the bar circuit to headline shows across the globe - can you sum up for us how this has been for you?
This year has been full of a lot of firsts: first move to the United States, first time touring in Europe, first time collaborating with writers and producers in Nashville and London on this new music, and it will be my first time performing in Edinburgh!
How’s the rest of 2025 shaping up for you? Any plans you’re especially excited about?
I can't say too much but I have more music coming out VERY SOON... before the end of the year! I am going to play some of this unreleased music at the show. Hope to see you there!
