24 year old singer-songwriter from Bathgate in Scotland. Winner of Breakthrough Artist 2020 at Scottish Music Awards 2020. Patron of Music Venue Trust

Scottish Music Awards 2020 Breakthrough Artist, 24-year-old Bathgate singer Luke La Volpe has a uniquely deep and sonorous voice, heartfelt songs and a growing live following. After landmark supports with the likes of Tom Grennan, Lewis Capaldi, The Snuts and Tom Walker and a sold out Scottish Tour in February, Luke sold a King Tut’s headline gig in 12 hours and had a summer of festivals lined up
During the enforced hiatus of lockdown Luke organised the Sofathon Singalong online festivals in aid of the Music Venue Trust, helping grassroots music venues through the crisis and the charity invited him to become a patron alongside legends including Sir Paul McCartney and Billy Bragg.
In May Luke released the Terribly Beautiful EP, earning him a Top 5 iTunes hit and Scottish Number One single with the haunting 'Dead Man’s Blues'. He’s due to finally play that sold-out Tut’s show in September, with TRNSMT, Belladrum, Party at the Palace and more to look forward to. Given his achievements in the strangest of circumstances this year, you wouldn’t bet against him blowing the roof off when the gigs are back in 2021
