We Are Scientists are excited to announce a series of live shows across the U.K. and Europe in May 2025. The announcement comes as the band is currently embarking on a sold-out U.K. tour to celebrate the long-awaited vinyl reissue of their 2008 album Brain Thrust Mastery, which includes the hit single "After Hours."
Next year’s European tour will see We Are Scientists bringing their high-energy live performance to cities such as Paris, Berlin, Vienna, and Edinburgh, among others. Frontman Keith Murray shared his enthusiasm: “I can't wait for these shows to begin. I’d happily skip straight to the first show if I could—though, I suppose we do need to rehearse and I should probably get some new stage outfits, so I guess I’ll have to stay awake for a few days before the tour kicks off!”
We Are Scientists first made their mark in the U.K. in 2005, shortly before the release of their gold-selling debut With Love & Squalor, an album that has since become a cornerstone of the indie rock scene. Over the years, the band has released eight studio albums, including their latest critically praised record, Lobes (2023).
Having spent much of the past year working on new material, We Are Scientists are gearing up for a busy 2025, with today’s tour announcement offering fans an exciting preview of what’s to come.
