LUSA is the exciting new project from Innes Strachan, synth player and producer behind electro-trad pioneers, Niteworks.
Released in September 2024, 'The Colour of Space' is Innes' debut album under the LUSA alias and sees him take a step away from trad for the first time in his career. It features a mix of emotive electro-pop songs and synth driven electronica. Many long-time friends and talented creatives collaborated on the project, including Beth Malcom, Donald Macdonald, Ruairidh Graham, Laura Wilkie, Keir Long, Colin Bramwell and Lorne Macfadyen.
LUSA is already making waves in the live arena, their debut coming whilst supporting Tidelines for two sold out shows at Glasgow's iconic Barrowland Ballroom. With sold out headline shows at Glasgow's Dannsa and a maiden festival appearance at Black Isle Calling, LUSA's thrilling live show is set to wow audiences in 2025.
The LUSA live line-up features Innes Strachan (keys), Donald Macdonald (keys), Ruairidh Graham (drums/percussion) and Beth Malcom (keys and vocals).
