Katie Nicoll is an alternative pop singer/ songwriter based in Dundee, Scotland. Katie’s musical influences vary from the likes of Taylor Swift’s catchy pop-melodies, to AC/DC’s powerhouse vocalist Bon Scott- who was brought up in Kirriemuir, Angus- where Katie originally hails from. Despite Katie spending the last few years studying Graphic Design at university, she has still found time to release multiple singles - with three of them gaining ‘track of the week’ titles from BBC Scotland & BBC Introducing between 2022 and 2024. Her track ‘Be Mine’ was also picked up by Ticketmaster UK, and used in a recent advertisement for their summer festival campaign. In 2024, Katie was successful in selling out two headline shows in Dundee, followed by a debut Glasgow headline in February 2025. Her natural ability to capture the attention of a crowd has also helped her to pick up support slots for the likes of Rianne Downey, Callum Beattie and Toploader. In 2025, Katie hopes to release some brand new music and play some of her favourite gigs yet.
