Gigs in Scotland at home

At a time when we are social distancing, discover what's happening in music from across the world as we keep you connected with our artists.

K4CIE is a DJ and broadcaster living in Glasgow. Her story started in 2014 when she began DJing, keen to bring a more 808-laden, rap-adjacent sound to the city’s 4/4-heavy landscape. Fairly quickly, her selections bagged her a spot on underground Glasgow station LVLZ Radio and Radar Radio which has now led to guest slots and shows on NTS, Noods, Reprezent, Rinse FM, Berlin Community Radio and BBC Bristol.

Most recently, K4CIE’s been featured in the Glasgow instalment of Eventbrite’s Generation DIY series – profiling young event creators aged 25 and under making real change in the UK. The campaign was an opportunity for K4CIE to promote PEACH – a party she runs in Glasgow which encourages an inclusive space for women both on the line-up and in the club.

Described by Crack Magazine as “an aspiring member of the new gen”, K4CIE has recently dived into the production world with the 3 track mix-tape ‘Jetty’, which has led to working on new music with artists and even a release through LuckyMe Record label.
