Bellahouston Park is located in the south side of Glasgow in the Mosspark / Dumbreck district and a short walk from Ibrox Stadium.

Please note this is an outdoor all-standing concert.

No persons under 14 permitted.

Persons aged between 14-16 years old must be accompanied by an adult 21 or over (1 adult minimum per 4 persons aged between 14 -16 years old).

If you are attending with someone under 16 years old, we encourage you to register your contact details in advance via our guardianship procedure form here. Guardianship wristbands will be issued at the Information Point inside the arena near Entrance A when you arrive on site. This will help us reunite you in the unlikely event you become separated.

You must bring a valid and current ID with you. Valid IDs must be photographic.

The following types of ID are accepted:

  • UK or International Full or Provisional Driving Licence
  • UK or International Passport
  • National Proof of Age Standards Scheme card with the PASS hologram (e.g. Young Scot, CitizenCard, My ID Card)
    • Must have a PASS hologram on it.
    • The PASS hologram must not be faded, damaged or tampered with.
    • If there is an issue with the PASS hologram on your ID, you should apply for a replacement card via the issuing authority as it will not be accepted.

This is line with the national Challenge 25 policy.

**Photocopies of ID does not count as valid ID. Must be original documents.

Walking:

The city centre is a 50 minute walk from Bellahouston Park via Paisley Road West. Walking routes will be available closer to the show date.

Buses:

Bus numbers 9, 9A, 10, (First) and 38 (McGills) all drop off/pick up from Paisley Road West to the north of Bellahouston Park. The journey to the City Centre is 22mins and the last bus is scheduled for 00.25 at the time of writing. Please check the bus company websites for timetables closer to the event.

Privately chartered coaches will have a dedicated parking area close to the venue.  The location will be updated here once agreed.

Happy Bus runs a shuttle bus service from Buchanan Street Bus Station to and from the event site every 15 minutes. Buses will depart the bus station between 4pm-6:30pm and will leave Bellahouston to return to the bus station between 10pm-midnight.

Tickets can be purchased in advance online at www.happybus.co.uk. Return tickets to the bus station can be purchased at the gig from the kiosk near Gate A.

Train:

The venue is serviced by 3 rail stations. Corkerhill Station to the west is a 10-minute walk to/from Bellahouston Park. Dumbreck Station to the east is a 5-minute walk to/from Bellahouston Park. Cardonald Station to the north is a 15-minute walk to/from Bellahouston Park. Please check www.scotrail.co.uk website for the most up to date information

Parking:

The only parking is at Albion Car Park next to Ibrox Stadium, around a 20-minute walk from the entrance to the event. Parking costs £10.

Underground:

Bellahouston Park is serviced by Ibrox Underground Station, an 8-minute walk to/from the venue. The last train is at 10:45pm.

Accessible Parking:

Accessible customers can park on Mosspark Boulevard only if prearranged with DF Concerts Accessible Co-ordinator. Please get in touch with access@dfconcerts.co.uk for any accessibility enquiries.

VIP Wristband Exchange

VIP customers will need to collect their VIP wristband from the VIP Wristband Exchange Box Office.

This is located beside the VIP entrance within the main arena.

The only official ticket outlet for this event is Ticketmaster.

No other agents are authorised to sell and any listing on unauthorised site cannot be guaranteed to gain entry to the event.

All tickets will be mobile tickets.

These will be available in your Ticketmaster app the week before the event.

This event will be using Ticketmaster's SafeTix technology to provide powerful fraud and counterfeit protection.  Your barcode will constantly change and screenshots of barcodes will not work.  You must show the barcode in the Ticketmaster app.  More info on SafeTix can be found here.
Please make sure you check your tickets within the latest version of the Ticketmaster app, and are logged into the app before you arrive at the venue as mobile data reception can be limited - doing this in advance through the app will ensure that you’ll be able to access them at the venue without connectivity.

We strongly recommend that you only purchase tickets through our official ticket partner Ticketmaster.  No other agents are authorised to sell and any listing on unauthorised site cannot be guaranteed to gain entry to the events.

We’ve seen lots of customers be scammed by purchasing tickets through sites such as Ebay, Gumtree, Stubhub, Viagogo etc.  Unofficial sites do not give you the same rights and protections.  Be aware and don’t fall for a scam.  These tickets might not even exist and if you turn up with a fake ticket you’ll be turned away from the event so don’t chance it.  We recommend you only purchase through our official ticket partners. Our official resale partner is Ticketmaster Fan to Fan Exchange.

We only permit ticket resale at face value through Ticketmaster Fan to Fan Exchange.  Please do not use ticket sites such as Ebay, Gumtree, Stubhub, Viagogo where tickets may be available at hugely inflated prices.  Buying through these websites also run the risk of being sold tickets that may not actually exist.

We recommend that you purchase tickets in advance to avoid disappointment.  Should there be tickets left for sale these can be purchased on the day at either Box Office.

You’ll also be able to purchase through Ticketmaster subject to availability.  With mobile tickets you can have these delivered to your Ticketmaster app on your phone straight away saving you having to collect these at the box office.

Please note that our box offices will only be accepting card payments – cash will not be permitted.

VIP customers should enter through Gate A or Gate C. 

Before entering the VIP area you’ll need to collect your VIP wristband from VIP Wristband Exchange located beside the entrance to the VIP Garden.  You must present your mobile ticket where it’ll be scanned before a wristband will be issued.

Please note, your mobile ticket can only be scanned once when collecting a VIP wristband.  VIP wristbands will not be replaced under and circumstances and you must wear these at all times.  If you remove your wristband this will not be replaced and will be considered void.

Accessible Platform

Accessible Toilets

There will be accessible toilets all around the site with the main block at the Accessible Platform. The use of these toilets is controlled by wristbands. ‘Just Can’t Wait’ cards and other medical IDs are also accepted. The accessible toilets will be stewarded.

If you require more information about the type of toilets available, please reach out to the access team.

Your ticket can only be scanned once for each day it’s valid. There is no re-entry once you’re in the event site.

Picnic Blankets, non-professional cameras, portable phone charger, ID, ear plugs, hand sanitiser, hats, lip balm, make up, sunscreen, sunglasses, an empty bottle no bigger than 500ml (not a fancy reusable one though as glass/metal/hard plastic bottles aren't permitted), biodegradable wipes and more.

The event is cashless and all purchases made at the event will be via card or mobile payment.

Do not bring single-use disposable vapes. They pollute the environment and incorrect disposal of these can be hazardous at waste centres.

Bags and rucksacks bigger than A3 paper size, glass (including perfumes), metal or hard plastic water bottles, food or drink/liquids even if unopened, drugs, flares (you will be charged by the Police), smoke canisters (you will be charged by the Police), flags, chairs, professional cameras, selfie sticks, umbrellas, weapons, frisbees/boomerangs and hi-vis tabards or jackets.

You may be refused entry, ejected or worse still, arrested if you bring a prohibited item so familiarise yourself with what we won’t allow into the event.

Please be prepared for delays on entry for bag searches and ticket checks.

Your safety is our priority. Strict security measures will be in place and searches carried out at entry.

If you require any assistance throughout the show, please speak to the nearest member of security who can assist you and direct you to our welfare or first aid points if required.

Look after yourself and others round about you. If you need help at any time, please speak to the nearest member of security.

Drinking alcohol in public is illegal in Glasgow so please do not bring alcohol to the event.  If you plan on drinking alcohol, take it easy and don’t end up too intoxicated. Security is obliged to refuse admission or eject you from the site if you have had too much to drink so, don’t spoil your night.

It is an offence to supply alcohol to anyone under the age of 18. ID spot checks will be taking place, and anyone caught supplying alcohol to anyone underage will be removed from the event and reported to Police Scotland.

Our supportive welfare team from TLC are onsite to provide confidential and non-judgemental help in a whole variety of situations.  Welfare is a safe space to get support with intoxication, lost friends, you need sanitary products, you need a quiet space to desensitise or you just need someone to talk to.

Be prepared for all weather. Keep an eye on the forecast and be prepared for a change in the weather as the evening goes on. Umbrellas are not permitted in the event.

Planning on watching the show from down the front? The fact you will be in a big crowd may feel uncomfortable and going down the front is a very different experience than being further back in the crowd.

If you are planning to watch the show from the front of the stage, there are some things to be mindful of, including the importance of not starting circle pits:

  • Don’t start or participate in circle pits – they are dangerous and can cause harm across the full crowd.
  • Crowd movement happens at all shows and it’s important to help everyone around you if you find yourself in a difficult position.
  • The event control centre is always monitoring the crowd via CCTV.
  • Security and ‘spotters’ are on and around the stage watching for anyone who is in need for assistance at all times.
  • Take time to chill – there are plenty of areas around the event site where you can take a moment.

We want Green Day to be an event that is accessible for all. We have a dedicated Accessibility Team working to constantly improve the experience for fans with accessibility requirements.

To provide the best possible experience, please follow our access application guidance below.

1.Buy a standard ticket for yourself. You don’t need to buy a ticket for your Personal Assistant (PA)/Companion if you require one.

2.Once you’ve bought your ticket, complete the Accessible Application form here to apply for your free PA/Companion ticket and/or use of the accessible facilities you require.

3.Attach a piece of supporting documentation to your application form or email it to us on access@dfconcerts.co.uk. Please send this within 14 days of filling out the form. If we don’t receive this, we can’t process your application.  If you registered for our accessibility database within the last 3 years, you don’t need to attach this.

We recommend that you complete your application as soon as possible once you’ve purchased your tickets. Make sure you receive our automatic reply confirming we’ve received your application (If you don’t receive this, it means your application wasn’t submitted).

We aim to process applications as soon as possible after receiving them. This may take up to 3 weeks during busy periods. You’ll receive confirmation by email once your application is approved.

If a customer is unable to attend Green Day at Bellahouston Park without the support from a PA/Companion, then we will provide a ticket for them at no extra cost.

  • The PA/Companion ticket is subject to completing our online accessible application process here.
  • Each access customer will be allowed one free PA ticket unless pre-agreed with the access manager due to their requirements.
  • If you need more than one PA, please contact us at access@dfconcerts.co.uk
  • This ticket is provided with the expectation that your PA or Companion is willing and able to assist you throughout your visit.
  • In the event of an evacuation, they are your main point of assistance. Crowd management staff located near the viewing platform will assist in moving everybody to a safe place.
  • PA tickets won’t be posted out and will be available only on the day for collection.
  • PA tickets must be applied for via the Accessible Application Form and can only be approved by members of the Access Team.

Your role as PA/Companion

  • Familiarise yourself with the Accessible Information Guide once its available.
  • Make yourself aware of the access team and stewards on the platform in case you need any assistance.
  • Make sure to check weather before attending and ensure you and the access customer are ready for the ever-changing Scottish weather.
  • The PA ticket has been issued to you on the basis that the PA will not become incapacitated. In such circumstances and for your own safety, you, and the person you are assisting will be required to leave the site.
  • You are attending Green Day at Bellahouston Park to accompany and assist the person who chose you as their PA. We have the right to eject you from this event should it become apparent you are not carrying out this role.

Accessible Platform

  • Raised platform with 2 ramps for access.
  • Unisex accessible toilets (Including mobile Changing Places toilet).
  • Seated only – You can stand and dance at the back of the platform if you wish.
  • Wheelchair Charging Point (if requested in advance).
  • Pre-approved access customers only.

Accessible Toilets

There will be accessible toilets all around the site. Their locations will be highlighted on the cartoon map when its released. The main accessible toilet block is at the Accessible Platform. These are portable plastic units with hand-washing facilities operated by a foot pump.

Use of the accessible toilets is controlled by wristbands. There will be a steward at each location to ensure that only access customers can use these.

Wristband System

Our accessible platform and facilities are controlled by a wristband system. These facilities are strictly for access customers and one companion. To ensure this runs smoothly, each platform and set of accessible toilets will have a team of stewards and security to manage customer lists and check wristbands.

We operate 2 types of wristbands on-site depending on your requirements.

Accessible Platform Wristband

  • Access to Accessible Platform.
  • Wheelchair Charging Point.
  • Unisex accessible toilets.
  • Accessible platform Food & Drink Service.
  • Accessible platform Merchandise Service.
  • Personal Assistant (PA)/Companion Ticket – if requested in application.

Accessible Facilities Wristband

  • No accessible platform access.
  • Unisex accessible toilets.
  • Personal Assistant (PA)/Companion Ticket – if requested in application.

Platform Points to Note

  • One person will be allowed one PA/Companion on the platform unless otherwise pre-agreed due to access requirements.
  • The platform is seated only. This is to prevent restricted view for other customers. If you wish to stand and dance, you can do so at the back of the platform.
  • The platform is uncovered, and umbrellas are prohibited. Please dress appropriately for the ever-changing Scottish weather.
  • Walkways on the platform must be kept free for Health and Safety reasons. There will be no standing/dancing allowed in these areas and stewards may ask you to move elsewhere.
  • For the comfort and enjoyment of all customers using the platform, no smoking/use of e-cigarettes is allowed on the platform.
  • No abuse of the PA/Companion wristband or it will be revoked.
  • Any aggression or abuse, physical or verbal directed towards our staff will not be tolerated.
  • Stewards will provide you with a seat and position on the platform upon arrival. This will be operated on a first come first serve basis regardless of your ticket type (GA, VIP, etc.) If you are leaving the platform for an extended period, we advise that you inform stewards or those around you that those seats are taken.

Bellahouston Park is accessible via public transport (bus and train). There will also be provisions for Accessible Parking and Accessible Drop-off/Pick-up. A breakdown of all accessible travel options for the event will be available in the Accessibility Information Guide.

Accessible Parking

Accessible Parking will be available free of charge. More information will be available soon. You can register your interest by completing the Accessible Application Form.

Performance Interpreting Services

BSL Performance Interpreters, Audio Description and Live Captioning are available on request. Please send your request at least 60 days in advance to access@dfconcerts.co.uk.

Assistance Dogs

We welcome assistance dogs at Green Day as long as they have been specifically trained to assist you, only use the toilet in a designated spending area and behave in a way that is appropriate around other customers. If you’re bringing an assistance dog and require a dog spending area on site, please email your request within a reasonable time frame to access@dfconcerts.co.uk.

Medical and Welfare

Welfare and First Aid are available to everyone at Green Day. The locations of these areas will be highlighted on the cartoon map when it's made available closer to the time.

Large Bags

If you need to bring a bag larger than the size of A3 paper due to your accessibility requirements, please email us on access@dfconcerts.co.uk so we can send you an authorisation letter.

Food and Drink

If you need to bring your own food or non-alcoholic drinks due to your accessibility requirements, please email us on access@dfconcerts.co.uk so we can send you an authorisation letter.

Medication

If you need to bring medication that isn’t immediately recognisable such as needles or controlled drugs, please email us on access@dfconcerts.co.uk so we can send you an authorisation letter.

Stage Effects 

Flicker, laser, strobe, and other lighting effects or pyrotechnics may be used during the performances. Anyone affected by these should bear this in mind. If you need more information about this, please reach out to us.

Accessibility Information Guide

A downloadable Accessibility Information Guide will be sent out via email prior to the event to everyone who has completed an Accessibility Application. This will include arrival information, a site map, distances, information on accessible facilities and more.  We can provide large print and easy read guides if requested in advance.

Site Description

Bellahouston Park is an outdoor, public park in Glasgow. The ground in the arena consists of a combination of gravel, grass, and limited hard-standing, tarmac pathways and temporary trackway.

Poor weather conditions can have a detrimental effect on the terrain making some areas inaccessible to wheelchair users or customers with mobility issues.

Route from Accessible Parking – There is tarmac pavement from the road to the accessible entrance. There is temporary trackway leading to the arena then a hard-standing path to the accessible platform.

Route from Dumbreck Station – This route is made up of pavements and roads through city streets. There are pedestrian crossings with dropped kerbs throughout this route.

  • Flicker, laser, strobe, and other lighting effects may be used during the performances. Anyone affected by these should bear this in mind.
  • If you need to bring medication with you, we recommend bringing a copy of your doctor’s letter or prescription. Please keep medication in its original boxes. There will also be a fridge available if you require cold storage for your medication.
  • If your medication includes controlled drugs, needles, or anything that is not immediately recognisable, please let us know on access@dfconcerts.co.uk
  • If you need to bring food or non-alcoholic drinks with you due to your access requirements, please let us know on access@dfconcerts.co.uk

The city centre is a 50 minute walk from Bellahouston Park via Paisley Road West. Walking routes will be available closer to the show date.

Buses:

Bus numbers 9, 9A, 10, (First) and 38 (McGills) all drop off/pick up from Paisley Road West to the north of Bellahouston Park. The journey to the City Centre is 22mins and the last bus is scheduled for 00.25 at the time of writing. Please check the bus company websites for timetables closer to the event.

Privately chartered coaches will have a dedicated parking area close to the venue.  The location will be updated here once agreed.

Happy Bus runs a shuttle bus service from Buchanan Street Bus Station to and from the event site every 15 minutes. Buses will depart the bus station between 4pm-6:30pm and will leave Bellahouston to return to the bus station between 10pm-midnight.

Tickets can be purchased in advance online at www.happybus.co.uk. Return tickets to the bus station can be purchased at the gig from the kiosk near Gate A.

Train:

The venue is serviced by 3 rail stations. Corkerhill Station to the west is a 10-minute walk to/from Bellahouston Park. Dumbreck Station to the east is a 5-minute walk to/from Bellahouston Park. Cardonald Station to the north is a 15-minute walk to/from Bellahouston Park. Please check www.scotrail.co.uk website for the most up to date information

Parking:

The only parking is at Albion Car Park next to Ibrox Stadium, around a 20-minute walk from the entrance to the event. Parking costs £10.

Underground:

Bellahouston Park is serviced by Ibrox Underground Station, an 8-minute walk to/from the venue. The last train is at 10:45pm.

Accessible Parking:

Accessible customers can park on Mosspark Boulevard only if prearranged with DF Concerts Accessible Co-ordinator. Please get in touch with access@dfconcerts.co.uk for any accessibility enquiries.

VIP Wristband Exchange

VIP customers will need to collect their VIP wristband from the VIP Wristband Exchange Box Office.

This is located beside the VIP entrance within the main arena.

The only official ticket outlet for this event is Ticketmaster.

No other agents are authorised to sell and any listing on unauthorised site cannot be guaranteed to gain entry to the event.

All tickets will be mobile tickets.

These will be available in your Ticketmaster app the week before the event.

This event will be using Ticketmaster's SafeTix technology to provide powerful fraud and counterfeit protection.  Your barcode will constantly change and screenshots of barcodes will not work.  You must show the barcode in the Ticketmaster app.  More info on SafeTix can be found here.
Please make sure you check your tickets within the latest version of the Ticketmaster app, and are logged into the app before you arrive at the venue as mobile data reception can be limited - doing this in advance through the app will ensure that you’ll be able to access them at the venue without connectivity.

We strongly recommend that you only purchase tickets through our official ticket partner Ticketmaster.  No other agents are authorised to sell and any listing on unauthorised site cannot be guaranteed to gain entry to the events.

We’ve seen lots of customers be scammed by purchasing tickets through sites such as Ebay, Gumtree, Stubhub, Viagogo etc.  Unofficial sites do not give you the same rights and protections.  Be aware and don’t fall for a scam.  These tickets might not even exist and if you turn up with a fake ticket you’ll be turned away from the event so don’t chance it.  We recommend you only purchase through our official ticket partners. Our official resale partner is Ticketmaster Fan to Fan Exchange.

We only permit ticket resale at face value through Ticketmaster Fan to Fan Exchange.  Please do not use ticket sites such as Ebay, Gumtree, Stubhub, Viagogo where tickets may be available at hugely inflated prices.  Buying through these websites also run the risk of being sold tickets that may not actually exist.

We recommend that you purchase tickets in advance to avoid disappointment.  Should there be tickets left for sale these can be purchased on the day at either Box Office.

You’ll also be able to purchase through Ticketmaster subject to availability.  With mobile tickets you can have these delivered to your Ticketmaster app on your phone straight away saving you having to collect these at the box office.

Please note that our box offices will only be accepting card payments – cash will not be permitted.

VIP customers should enter through Gate A or Gate C. 

Before entering the VIP area you’ll need to collect your VIP wristband from VIP Wristband Exchange located beside the entrance to the VIP Garden.  You must present your mobile ticket where it’ll be scanned before a wristband will be issued.

Please note, your mobile ticket can only be scanned once when collecting a VIP wristband.  VIP wristbands will not be replaced under and circumstances and you must wear these at all times.  If you remove your wristband this will not be replaced and will be considered void.

Accessible Platform

Accessible Toilets

There will be accessible toilets all around the site with the main block at the Accessible Platform. The use of these toilets is controlled by wristbands. ‘Just Can’t Wait’ cards and other medical IDs are also accepted. The accessible toilets will be stewarded.

If you require more information about the type of toilets available, please reach out to the access team.

Your ticket can only be scanned once for each day it’s valid. There is no re-entry once you’re in the event site.

Picnic Blankets, non-professional cameras, portable phone charger, ID, ear plugs, hand sanitiser, hats, lip balm, make up, sunscreen, sunglasses, an empty bottle no bigger than 500ml (not a fancy reusable one though as glass/metal/hard plastic bottles aren't permitted), biodegradable wipes and more.

The event is cashless and all purchases made at the event will be via card or mobile payment.

Do not bring single-use disposable vapes. They pollute the environment and incorrect disposal of these can be hazardous at waste centres.

Bags and rucksacks bigger than A3 paper size, glass (including perfumes), metal or hard plastic water bottles, food or drink/liquids even if unopened, drugs, flares (you will be charged by the Police), smoke canisters (you will be charged by the Police), flags, chairs, professional cameras, selfie sticks, umbrellas, weapons, frisbees/boomerangs and hi-vis tabards or jackets.

You may be refused entry, ejected or worse still, arrested if you bring a prohibited item so familiarise yourself with what we won’t allow into the event.

Please be prepared for delays on entry for bag searches and ticket checks.

Your safety is our priority. Strict security measures will be in place and searches carried out at entry.

If you require any assistance throughout the show, please speak to the nearest member of security who can assist you and direct you to our welfare or first aid points if required.

Look after yourself and others round about you. If you need help at any time, please speak to the nearest member of security.

Drinking alcohol in public is illegal in Glasgow so please do not bring alcohol to the event.  If you plan on drinking alcohol, take it easy and don’t end up too intoxicated. Security is obliged to refuse admission or eject you from the site if you have had too much to drink so, don’t spoil your night.

It is an offence to supply alcohol to anyone under the age of 18. ID spot checks will be taking place, and anyone caught supplying alcohol to anyone underage will be removed from the event and reported to Police Scotland.

Our supportive welfare team from TLC are onsite to provide confidential and non-judgemental help in a whole variety of situations.  Welfare is a safe space to get support with intoxication, lost friends, you need sanitary products, you need a quiet space to desensitise or you just need someone to talk to.

Be prepared for all weather. Keep an eye on the forecast and be prepared for a change in the weather as the evening goes on. Umbrellas are not permitted in the event.

Planning on watching the show from down the front? The fact you will be in a big crowd may feel uncomfortable and going down the front is a very different experience than being further back in the crowd.

If you are planning to watch the show from the front of the stage, there are some things to be mindful of, including the importance of not starting circle pits:

  • Don’t start or participate in circle pits – they are dangerous and can cause harm across the full crowd.
  • Crowd movement happens at all shows and it’s important to help everyone around you if you find yourself in a difficult position.
  • The event control centre is always monitoring the crowd via CCTV.
  • Security and ‘spotters’ are on and around the stage watching for anyone who is in need for assistance at all times.
  • Take time to chill – there are plenty of areas around the event site where you can take a moment.

We want Green Day to be an event that is accessible for all. We have a dedicated Accessibility Team working to constantly improve the experience for fans with accessibility requirements.

To provide the best possible experience, please follow our access application guidance below.

1.Buy a standard ticket for yourself. You don’t need to buy a ticket for your Personal Assistant (PA)/Companion if you require one.

2.Once you’ve bought your ticket, complete the Accessible Application form here to apply for your free PA/Companion ticket and/or use of the accessible facilities you require.

3.Attach a piece of supporting documentation to your application form or email it to us on access@dfconcerts.co.uk. Please send this within 14 days of filling out the form. If we don’t receive this, we can’t process your application.  If you registered for our accessibility database within the last 3 years, you don’t need to attach this.

We recommend that you complete your application as soon as possible once you’ve purchased your tickets. Make sure you receive our automatic reply confirming we’ve received your application (If you don’t receive this, it means your application wasn’t submitted).

We aim to process applications as soon as possible after receiving them. This may take up to 3 weeks during busy periods. You’ll receive confirmation by email once your application is approved.

If a customer is unable to attend Green Day at Bellahouston Park without the support from a PA/Companion, then we will provide a ticket for them at no extra cost.

  • The PA/Companion ticket is subject to completing our online accessible application process here.
  • Each access customer will be allowed one free PA ticket unless pre-agreed with the access manager due to their requirements.
  • If you need more than one PA, please contact us at access@dfconcerts.co.uk
  • This ticket is provided with the expectation that your PA or Companion is willing and able to assist you throughout your visit.
  • In the event of an evacuation, they are your main point of assistance. Crowd management staff located near the viewing platform will assist in moving everybody to a safe place.
  • PA tickets won’t be posted out and will be available only on the day for collection.
  • PA tickets must be applied for via the Accessible Application Form and can only be approved by members of the Access Team.

Your role as PA/Companion

  • Familiarise yourself with the Accessible Information Guide once its available.
  • Make yourself aware of the access team and stewards on the platform in case you need any assistance.
  • Make sure to check weather before attending and ensure you and the access customer are ready for the ever-changing Scottish weather.
  • The PA ticket has been issued to you on the basis that the PA will not become incapacitated. In such circumstances and for your own safety, you, and the person you are assisting will be required to leave the site.
  • You are attending Green Day at Bellahouston Park to accompany and assist the person who chose you as their PA. We have the right to eject you from this event should it become apparent you are not carrying out this role.

Accessible Platform

  • Raised platform with 2 ramps for access.
  • Unisex accessible toilets (Including mobile Changing Places toilet).
  • Seated only – You can stand and dance at the back of the platform if you wish.
  • Wheelchair Charging Point (if requested in advance).
  • Pre-approved access customers only.

Accessible Toilets

There will be accessible toilets all around the site. Their locations will be highlighted on the cartoon map when its released. The main accessible toilet block is at the Accessible Platform. These are portable plastic units with hand-washing facilities operated by a foot pump.

Use of the accessible toilets is controlled by wristbands. There will be a steward at each location to ensure that only access customers can use these.

‘Just Can’t Wait’ cards and other medical IDs are also accepted.

Wristband System

Our accessible platform and facilities are controlled by a wristband system. These facilities are strictly for access customers and one companion. To ensure this runs smoothly, each platform and set of accessible toilets will have a team of stewards and security to manage customer lists and check wristbands.

We operate 2 types of wristbands on-site depending on your requirements.

Accessible Platform Wristband

  • Access to Accessible Platform.
  • Wheelchair Charging Point.
  • Unisex accessible toilets.
  • Accessible platform Food & Drink Service.
  • Accessible platform Merchandise Service.
  • Personal Assistant (PA)/Companion Ticket – if requested in application.

Accessible Facilities Wristband

  • No accessible platform access.
  • Unisex accessible toilets.
  • Personal Assistant (PA)/Companion Ticket – if requested in application.

Platform Points to Note

  • One person will be allowed one PA/Companion on the platform unless otherwise pre-agreed due to access requirements.
  • The platform is seated only. This is to prevent restricted view for other customers. If you wish to stand and dance, you can do so at the back of the platform.
  • The platform is uncovered, and umbrellas are prohibited. Please dress appropriately for the ever-changing Scottish weather.
  • Walkways on the platform must be kept free for Health and Safety reasons. There will be no standing/dancing allowed in these areas and stewards may ask you to move elsewhere.
  • For the comfort and enjoyment of all customers using the platform, no smoking/use of e-cigarettes is allowed on the platform.
  • No abuse of the PA/Companion wristband or it will be revoked.
  • Any aggression or abuse, physical or verbal directed towards our staff will not be tolerated.
  • Stewards will provide you with a seat and position on the platform upon arrival. This will be operated on a first come first serve basis regardless of your ticket type (GA, VIP, etc.) If you are leaving the platform for an extended period, we advise that you inform stewards or those around you that those seats are taken.

Bellahouston Park is accessible via public transport (bus and train). There will also be provisions for Accessible Parking and Accessible Drop-off/Pick-up. A breakdown of all accessible travel options for the event will be available in the Accessibility Information Guide.

Accessible Parking

Accessible Parking will be available free of charge. More information will be available soon. You can register your interest by completing the Accessible Application Form.

Performance Interpreting Services

BSL Performance Interpreters, Audio Description and Live Captioning are available on request. Please send your request at least 60 days in advance to access@dfconcerts.co.uk.

Assistance Dogs

We welcome assistance dogs at Green Day as long as they have been specifically trained to assist you, only use the toilet in a designated spending area and behave in a way that is appropriate around other customers. If you’re bringing an assistance dog and require a dog spending area on site, please email your request within a reasonable time frame to access@dfconcerts.co.uk.

Medical and Welfare

Welfare and First Aid are available to everyone at Green Day. The locations of these areas will be highlighted on the cartoon map when it's made available closer to the time.

Large Bags

If you need to bring a bag larger than the size of A3 paper due to your accessibility requirements, please email us on access@dfconcerts.co.uk so we can send you an authorisation letter.

Food and Drink

If you need to bring your own food or non-alcoholic drinks due to your accessibility requirements, please email us on access@dfconcerts.co.uk so we can send you an authorisation letter.

Medication

If you need to bring medication that isn’t immediately recognisable such as needles or controlled drugs, please email us on access@dfconcerts.co.uk so we can send you an authorisation letter.

Stage Effects 

Flicker, laser, strobe, and other lighting effects or pyrotechnics may be used during the performances. Anyone affected by these should bear this in mind. If you need more information about this, please reach out to us.

Accessibility Information Guide

A downloadable Accessibility Information Guide will be sent out via email prior to the event to everyone who has completed an Accessibility Application. This will include arrival information, a site map, distances, information on accessible facilities and more.  We can provide large print and easy read guides if requested in advance.

Site Description

Bellahouston Park is an outdoor, public park in Glasgow. The ground in the arena consists of a combination of gravel, grass, and limited hard-standing, tarmac pathways and temporary trackway.

Poor weather conditions can have a detrimental effect on the terrain making some areas inaccessible to wheelchair users or customers with mobility issues.

Route from Accessible Parking – There is tarmac pavement from the road to the accessible entrance. There is temporary trackway leading to the arena then a hard-standing path to the accessible platform.

Route from Dumbreck Station – This route is made up of pavements and roads through city streets. There are pedestrian crossings with dropped kerbs throughout this route.

  • Flicker, laser, strobe, and other lighting effects may be used during the performances. Anyone affected by these should bear this in mind.
  • If you need to bring medication with you, we recommend bringing a copy of your doctor’s letter or prescription. Please keep medication in its original boxes. There will also be a fridge available if you require cold storage for your medication.
  • If your medication includes controlled drugs, needles, or anything that is not immediately recognisable, please let us know on access@dfconcerts.co.uk
  • If you need to bring food or non-alcoholic drinks with you due to your access requirements, please let us know on access@dfconcerts.co.uk
