Glasgow Green is a 5 minute walk from the Merchant City, located in the heart of Glasgow City and on the banks of the River Clyde meaning there are plenty of public transport options available nearby. 

  • West Entrance – Located on Saltmarket, opposite The High Court (///fallen.wounds.civic) 

  • East Entrance – Located off Arcadia St, near the play park (///tulip.scared.cheek) 

  • VIP Entrance – Located off London Road, next to the People Palace and Doulton Fountain (///flag.family.ship) 

Gates open: 5pm

14+ 

Those aged 14-15 years old must be accompanied by an adult aged 21 or over   

A Challenge 25 policy will be in place. You must provide valid, in-date, original photographic ID (no photocopies or expired passports). Entry to the event is restricted to those 14+ and bar access is restricted to those 18+. Your ID must clearly resemble you and entry will be denied for false or borrowed IDs, which is a criminal offense.  

Security checks will be thorough, and if we cannot quickly verify your ID or resemblance, you may experience delays. We work with Police Scotland to ensure a robust process and fake IDs will be confiscated and returned to the issuing organisation.  

Accepted IDs:  

  • UK/International Driving Licence (Full/Provisional)  

  • UK/International Passport  

  • PASS card (Young Scot, CitizenCard, My ID Card) with a clear, untampered hologram. If the hologram is damaged, apply for a replacement as it won’t be accepted.  

This follows the national Challenge 25 policy.  

Roads surrounding Glasgow Green will be closed and restricted to local residents only so please don’t bring your car as there is no parking at the event. 

Walking   

Glasgow Green is well serviced by all major travel hubs in the city centre which are all within walking distance of the event site.  

Rail   

Scotrail operate services to Glasgow Central and Glasgow Queen Street. Both stations are within a 20-minute walk to Glasgow Green.

Glasgow Subway 

The underground connects the City Centre with surrounding Glasgow suburbs and has Park and Ride options. The nearest stations to Glasgow Green are Bridge Street, St Enoch and Buchanan Street. 

Buses   

5–21 year-olds living in Scotland, no matter of their nationality, can apply for a new National Entitlement Card (NEC) or Young Scot NEC to access free bus travel across the country. More information can be found on freebus.scot.    

Citylink run national services to Buchanan Bus Station from across the country including Inverness, Perth, Kirkcaldy, Falkirk, and Aberdeen – citylink.co.uk

Pick up/Drop Off 

Due to road closures, it is not possible for cars to get close to Glasgow Green on show days. 

The following 4 locations are recommended and are considered most convenient when arranging to drop off or pick up. 

  • North - Duke Street at High Street 

  • South – Caledonia Road 

  • East – London Road, east of Bridgeton Rail Station 

  • West – Broomielaw, west of Oswald Street 

An Accessible Pick Up/Drop Off Location will be available and communicated in advance of the event. 

All vehicles entering the Glasgow City Centre Low emissions Zone (LEZ) will need to meet the less-polluting emission standards or face a penalty charge. 

Taxis

Accessible Parking

The official ticket outlet for this event is Ticketmaster. 

No other agents are authorised to sell tickets, and any listing on an unauthorised site cannot be guaranteed to gain entry to the event.   

Tickets must not be purchased with the intention of reselling them. If you can no longer use your tickets, you may only resell them through authorised resale sites (Ticketmaster Fan to Fan Exchange).   

We only permit ticket resale at face value through Ticketmaster Fan to Fan Exchange.  Please do not use ticket sites such as Ebay, Gumtree, Stubhub, and Viagogo where tickets may be available at hugely inflated prices.  Buying through these websites also run the risk of being sold tickets that may not actually exist.  

This event will be using Ticketmaster's SafeTix technology to provide powerful fraud and counterfeit protection. Your barcode will constantly change and screenshots of barcodes will not work. You must show the barcode in the Ticketmaster app. More info on SafeTix can be found here

Please make sure you check your tickets within the latest version of the Ticketmaster app and are logged into the app before you arrive at the venue as mobile data reception can be limited.

All tickets will be mobile tickets. 

These will be available in your Ticketmaster app the week before the event. 

Subject to availability, you can purchase tickets through Ticketmaster on the day and have your mobile tickets delivered to your Ticketmaster app instead of visiting the box office to purchase. 

Please note that our box offices will only be accepting card payments – cash will not be permitted. 

Your ticket can only be scanned once on the day it is valid. There is no re-entry once you’re in the event.

The event is cashless so you will need to bring your bank card or contactless device. All types of contactless cards and devices are accepted by traders, bars and funfair. 

  

Bring an empty soft collapsible water bottle or pouch which is 500ml or smaller so you can refill this at the free water points. 

  

Portable phone chargers, lip balm and makeup, small cameras, wipes, ear plugs, and small hand sanitiser can all be brought into the event. 

If you need to bring medicine, it must be clearly labelled in the original box or container and only be enough for one day. If you use a syringe, please take this to one of our first aid points where you can dispose of this safely. 

Single use disposable vapes, rucksacks, bags bigger than A3 paper, glass (including perfumes), metal or hard plastic water bottles, food or drink/liquids even if unopened, drugs, flares (you will be charged by the Police), smoke canisters (you will be charged by the Police), flags, chairs, professional cameras, selfie sticks, umbrellas, weapons, and more. 

Searches will be carried out at all entrances and may include a ‘pat down’, bag search and the use of a hand-held wand detection. You may be refused entry, ejected or worse still, arrested if you bring a prohibited item so familiarise yourself with what we won’t allow into the event. Items will be confiscated and not returned.

CCTV will be in use across the event site. You will be removed from the event if found with flares, smoke canisters or drugs (you also risk being arrested). Please be prepared for delays on entry for searches and ticket checks. 

There will be over 50 food traders and 20 bars open from 5pm to 10.30pm. We do not accept cash, so please bring a contactless card or device. 

There is no lost/found property location at the event 

  • If you are unfortunate enough to lose a personal item, please note that all property recovered by stewards is passed to Police Scotland for processing. 

  • You can call 101 to report lost property 

Our Welfare Team offers non-judgmental support across the event site. 

Feeling overwhelmed or need a break? Have you or a friend become intoxicated or anxious? Visit our welfare spaces where you can rest, recover, and get support. They can also help reunite you with friends or family if you’ve been separated. 

First aiders and medical personnel will operate from the event and are there to support you if you have a minor injury, ailment, or mental health concern.  Ambulances and paramedics are also on standby for emergencies. 

Need a calm space to relax? If you’re feeling overwhelmed, we have wellbeing support for you onsite. Visit our Wellbeing Area away from the crowd. Managed by Crew 2000, this safe spot lets you recharge before getting back to the event. 

We want this show to be an event that is accessible for all.   

Gigs in Scotland has a dedicated Access Team working all year round to constantly improve the experience for accessible customers. We welcome and encourage feedback from our attendees on our accessible facilities.  Please note the access facilities are not for the use of people with temporary impairments or circumstances such as broken bones, healing wounds or pregnancy. Personal Assistant/Essential Companion tickets 

If your Nimbus Access Card or Gigs in Scotland Digital Access Pass indicates the essential companion requirement, we will automatically provide you with an essential companion ticket free of charge. 

Please note that essential companion tickets are free but are only available to customers who have purchased a ticket. 

If you wish to apply for any of the accessible facilities at Catfish & the Bottlemen, including a free PA/Companion ticket, you must now have either a ‘Gigs in Scotland Access Pass’ or be a current Access Card holder. 

Applications for the Gigs in Scotland Access Pass will be submitted through Nimbus Disability. This is a free pass that will be valid for 3 years, so you will be able to use this at subsequent festivals. There is also the option to upgrade to an Access Card for £15 and you will be able to use this at live music venues, events, and tourist attractions across the UK and beyond! You can find out more about Nimbus and the Access Card by clicking here.

This is issued by the Nimbus team and will be valid for 3 years to use at our future festivals. There is also the option to upgrade to an Access Card for £15 and you will be able to use this at live music venues, events, and tourist attractions across the UK and beyond! 

3. I have an Access Card or Gigs in Scotland Digital Access Pass – what do I do now? 

Please have your Access Card or Nimbus x Rockstar Energy presents TRNSMT Access Pass ID number handy as you’ll need to input this on your application form. 

4. I have completed the Accessible Application form – what do I do now? 

The Gigs in Scotland Access Team will review your application and contact you once it has been processed. 

Access to the accessible facilities will be provided to you based on the approved requirements listed on their Nimbus Access Card or Gigs in Scotland Digital Access Pass. 

Please note that our accessible facilities are unable to cater for people with temporary impairments. This is considered to be anything that affects an individual for less than 12 months such as broken bones or healing injuries. If you have a temporary impairment, please be aware that there will be a lot of walking at Catfish & The Bottlemen and folding chairs are prohibited.  

If your Nimbus Access Card or Gigs in Scotland Digital Access Pass indicates the essential companion requirement, we will automatically provide you with an essential companion ticket free of charge. 

The essential companion must be willing and able to perform all requirements as needed by the accessibility customer and must assist the customer during the unlikely event of an evacuation or other emergency. 

Please note that essential companion tickets are free but are only available to customers who have purchased a ticket. 

Raised Accessible Platforms & Ground Level Viewing Area 

The raised viewing platform is available for wheelchair users and those with restricted mobility. Access to the platform will be approved per the requirements indicated on your Nimbus Access Card or Gigs in Scotland Digital Access Pass. 

Only the approved customer and their essential companion will have access to the raised Accessible platform in order to accommodate as many customers as possible. 

Please note that raised viewing platforms are not covered so please dress appropriately for all weather conditions. 

Accessible Platform 

Mainstage Accessible Platform 

  • Raised platform with 2 ramps for access. 

  • Unisex accessible toilets (Including mobile Changing Places toilet). 

  • Seated only – You can stand and dance at the back of the platform if you wish. 

  • Wheelchair charging point. 

  • Pre-approved access customers only – controlled by wristbands, checked by stewards upon entry to the area. 

The Accessible Platform is built to a specific capacity. After capacity is reached, you won’t be guaranteed a spot, and you will be added to a waitlist. 

Ground Level Viewing Area 

A dedicated ground level viewing area will be available to those who need a less crowded area and/or the option of sitting for short periods of time. 

Access to the ground level viewing area will be approved in accordance with the requirements indicated on your Nimbus Access Card or Gigs in Scotland Access Pass. 

Limited seating is available in the ground-level viewing area and it is operated on a first come first served basis. 

Customers may be accompanied in the ground floor viewing area by an essential companion if required. 

Accessible Toilets 

  • Use of accessible toilets all around the site (locations will be available on the cartoon map closer to the event). 

  • Use of the accessible toilets is controlled by wristbands. 

  • There will be a steward at each location to ensure that only access customers can use these. 

  • The main accessible toilet block will be at the main stage accessible platform. These will be portable plastic units with hand-washing facilities 

  • ‘Can’t Wait’ cards and other Bladder & Bowel cards are also accepted. 
     

Assistance Dogs 

We welcome assistance dogs at Catfish & the Bottlemen. Assistance dogs will be approved following the requirement indicated on your Nimbus Access Card or Gigs in Scotland Digital Access Pass. 

A spending area will be available for assistance dogs. 

Audio Description 

Audio Description will be provided on request by fully qualified Audio Describers. 

Please make sure you request this service on the Accessible Application Form. See the ‘Applying for Accessible Facilities’ tab for more info. 

Customers who have requested this service will be contacted by the relevant team for an understanding of which performances they would like covered; this is not guaranteed and is subject to change.

BSL interpreting services/Live Captioning 

A British Sign Language performance interpreting service and/or Live Captioning will be provided on request by fully qualified interpreters from Performance Interpreting/Captioners.

Medical and Welfare 

Medical, Welfare and our Wellbeing area are available to all customers at the festival. The locations of these areas will be highlighted on the cartoon map when it's made available closer to the time. 

Stage Effects 

Flicker, laser, strobe, and other lighting effects may be used during the performances at all stages. Anyone affected by these should bear this in mind. 

Sensory Backpacks 

Sensory Backpacks will be available to use throughout the event and can be picked up and returned to the Main Stage Accessible Platform. 

Sensory Tent 

Our Sensory Tent is a dedicated space designed to provide a calm and soothing environment for individuals who are neurodiverse (e.g. autistic, or ADHD) and may feel overwhelmed by the sensory stimulation at festivals. It offers a retreat for those needing a break from loud noises, bright lights, and large crowds. 

Accessible Information Guide/Easy Read Guide 

A downloadable Accessible Information & Easy Read Guide will be sent out via email prior to the event to all confirmed applicants which will include arrival information, access maps, distances, information on accessible facilities and more. 

Glasgow Green is accessible via public transport (bus and train). There will also be provisions for Accessible Parking and Accessible Drop-off/Pick-up. A breakdown of all accessible travel options for the event will be available in the Accessible Information Guide. 

  • The Accessible Platform is uncovered so please dress appropriately for the Scottish weather.   

  • Please note that flicker, laser, strobe and other lighting effects may be used during the performances.   

  • For the comfort and enjoyment of all Customers using the Accessible Platform, no smoking/use of e-cigarettes is permitted.   

  • The PA/Companion ticket is provided on the expectation that your PA is willing and able to assist you throughout your visit, and would be available and able to help you in the event of an evacuation.   

  • In the instance of a site evacuation please ensure that your PA is aware that they are your main point of assistance in an emergency evacuation. Crowd management personnel located near the viewing platform will assist in moving everybody to a place of safety.   

  • No abuse of the PA ticket and wristband or this wristband/ticket will be revoked.   

  • If you have a ‘Just Can’t Wait’ card, please present this to the stewards for quick access to the toilets.   

  • Please feel free to bring your own ear plugs.   

  • The accessible platform is seated only. This is to prevent the restricted view for other customers. If you wish to stand up and/or dance you may do so at the back of the platform.

First aiders and medical personnel will operate from the event and are there to support you if you have a minor injury, ailment, or mental health concern.  Ambulances and paramedics are also on standby for emergencies. 

Need a calm space to relax? If you’re feeling overwhelmed, we have wellbeing support for you onsite. Visit our Wellbeing Area away from the crowd. Managed by Crew 2000, this safe spot lets you recharge before getting back to the event. 

We want this show to be an event that is accessible for all.   

Gigs in Scotland has a dedicated Access Team working all year round to constantly improve the experience for accessible customers. We welcome and encourage feedback from our attendees on our accessible facilities.  Please note the access facilities are not for the use of people with temporary impairments or circumstances such as broken bones, healing wounds or pregnancy. Customers concerned with any of these points can contact our Accessibility Team on access@dfconcerts.co.uk.

Step 1- Please buy your event ticket first (please note we do not sell an Accessible ticket). 

Personal Assistant/Essential Companion tickets 

If your Nimbus Access Card or Gigs in Scotland Digital Access Pass indicates the essential companion requirement, we will automatically provide you with an essential companion ticket free of charge. 

Please note that essential companion tickets are free but are only available to customers who have purchased a ticket. 

If you wish to apply for any of the accessible facilities at Catfish & the Bottlemen, including a free PA/Companion ticket, you must now have either a ‘Gigs in Scotland Access Pass’ or be a current Access Card holder. 

Applications for the Gigs in Scotland Access Pass will be submitted through Nimbus Disability. This is a free pass that will be valid for 3 years, so you will be able to use this at subsequent festivals. There is also the option to upgrade to an Access Card for £15 and you will be able to use this at live music venues, events, and tourist attractions across the UK and beyond! You can find out more about Nimbus and the Access Card by clicking here.

Don’t have a Nimbus Access Card? 

This is issued by the Nimbus team and will be valid for 3 years to use at our future festivals. There is also the option to upgrade to an Access Card for £15 and you will be able to use this at live music venues, events, and tourist attractions across the UK and beyond! 

3. I have an Access Card or Gigs in Scotland Digital Access Pass – what do I do now? 

Please have your Access Card or Nimbus x Rockstar Energy presents TRNSMT Access Pass ID number handy as you’ll need to input this on your application form. 

4. I have completed the Accessible Application form – what do I do now? 

The Gigs in Scotland Access Team will review your application and contact you once it has been processed. 

Access to the accessible facilities will be provided to you based on the approved requirements listed on their Nimbus Access Card or Gigs in Scotland Digital Access Pass. 

Please note that our accessible facilities are unable to cater for people with temporary impairments. This is considered to be anything that affects an individual for less than 12 months such as broken bones or healing injuries. If you have a temporary impairment, please be aware that there will be a lot of walking at Catfish & The Bottlemen and folding chairs are prohibited.  

If your Nimbus Access Card or Gigs in Scotland Digital Access Pass indicates the essential companion requirement, we will automatically provide you with an essential companion ticket free of charge. 

The essential companion must be willing and able to perform all requirements as needed by the accessibility customer and must assist the customer during the unlikely event of an evacuation or other emergency. 

Please note that essential companion tickets are free but are only available to customers who have purchased a ticket. 

Raised Accessible Platforms & Ground Level Viewing Area 

The raised viewing platform is available for wheelchair users and those with restricted mobility. Access to the platform will be approved per the requirements indicated on your Nimbus Access Card or Gigs in Scotland Digital Access Pass. 

Only the approved customer and their essential companion will have access to the raised Accessible platform in order to accommodate as many customers as possible. 

Please note that raised viewing platforms are not covered so please dress appropriately for all weather conditions. 

Accessible Platform 

Mainstage Accessible Platform 

  • Raised platform with 2 ramps for access. 

  • Unisex accessible toilets (Including mobile Changing Places toilet). 

  • Seated only – You can stand and dance at the back of the platform if you wish. 

  • Wheelchair charging point. 

  • Pre-approved access customers only – controlled by wristbands, checked by stewards upon entry to the area. 

The Accessible Platform is built to a specific capacity. After capacity is reached, you won’t be guaranteed a spot, and you will be added to a waitlist. 

Ground Level Viewing Area 

A dedicated ground level viewing area will be available to those who need a less crowded area and/or the option of sitting for short periods of time. 

Access to the ground level viewing area will be approved in accordance with the requirements indicated on your Nimbus Access Card or Gigs in Scotland Access Pass. 

Limited seating is available in the ground-level viewing area and it is operated on a first come first served basis. 

Customers may be accompanied in the ground floor viewing area by an essential companion if required. 

Accessible Toilets 

  • Use of accessible toilets all around the site (locations will be available on the cartoon map closer to the event). 

  • Use of the accessible toilets is controlled by wristbands. 

  • There will be a steward at each location to ensure that only access customers can use these. 

  • The main accessible toilet block will be at the main stage accessible platform. These will be portable plastic units with hand-washing facilities 

  • ‘Can’t Wait’ cards and other Bladder & Bowel cards are also accepted. 
     

Assistance Dogs 

We welcome assistance dogs at Catfish & the Bottlemen. Assistance dogs will be approved following the requirement indicated on your Nimbus Access Card or Gigs in Scotland Digital Access Pass. 

A spending area will be available for assistance dogs. 

Audio Description 

Audio Description will be provided on request by fully qualified Audio Describers. 

Please make sure you request this service on the Accessible Application Form. See the ‘Applying for Accessible Facilities’ tab for more info. 

Customers who have requested this service will be contacted by the relevant team for an understanding of which performances they would like covered; this is not guaranteed and is subject to change. 

At least 60-days’ notice is advised to ensure we can source and ensure the availability of the audio describers. 

BSL interpreting services/Live Captioning 

A British Sign Language performance interpreting service and/or Live Captioning will be provided on request by fully qualified interpreters from Performance Interpreting/Captioners. 

Please make sure you request this service on the Accessible Application Form. See the ‘Applying for Accessible Facilities’  for more info. 

Customers who have requested this service will be contacted by the relevant team for an understanding of which performances they would like covered; this is not guaranteed and subject to change.  

At least 60-days’ notice is advised to ensure we can source and ensure the availability of the interpreters/captioners 

Hearing loops 
Hearing loops will be installed at box offices. 

Large Print 

Large print Accessible Information Guides, programmes or running times are available if requested in advance. 

Medical and Welfare 

Medical, Welfare and our Wellbeing area are available to all customers at the festival. The locations of these areas will be highlighted on the cartoon map when it's made available closer to the time. 

Stage Effects 

Flicker, laser, strobe, and other lighting effects may be used during the performances at all stages. Anyone affected by these should bear this in mind. 

Sensory Backpacks 

Sensory Backpacks will be available to use throughout the event and can be picked up and returned to the Main Stage Accessible Platform. 

Sensory Tent 

Our Sensory Tent is a dedicated space designed to provide a calm and soothing environment for individuals who are neurodiverse (e.g. autistic, or ADHD) and may feel overwhelmed by the sensory stimulation at festivals. It offers a retreat for those needing a break from loud noises, bright lights, and large crowds. 

Accessible Information Guide/Easy Read Guide 

A downloadable Accessible Information & Easy Read Guide will be sent out via email prior to the event to all confirmed applicants which will include arrival information, access maps, distances, information on accessible facilities and more. 

Glasgow Green is accessible via public transport (bus and train). There will also be provisions for Accessible Parking and Accessible Drop-off/Pick-up. A breakdown of all accessible travel options for the event will be available in the Accessible Information Guide. 

  • The Accessible Platform is uncovered so please dress appropriately for the Scottish weather.   

  • Please note that flicker, laser, strobe and other lighting effects may be used during the performances.   

  • For the comfort and enjoyment of all Customers using the Accessible Platform, no smoking/use of e-cigarettes is permitted.   

  • The PA/Companion ticket is provided on the expectation that your PA is willing and able to assist you throughout your visit, and would be available and able to help you in the event of an evacuation.   

  • In the instance of a site evacuation please ensure that your PA is aware that they are your main point of assistance in an emergency evacuation. Crowd management personnel located near the viewing platform will assist in moving everybody to a place of safety.   

  • No abuse of the PA ticket and wristband or this wristband/ticket will be revoked.   

  • If you have a ‘Just Can’t Wait’ card, please present this to the stewards for quick access to the toilets.   

  • Please feel free to bring your own ear plugs.   

  • The accessible platform is seated only. This is to prevent the restricted view for other customers. If you wish to stand up and/or dance you may do so at the back of the platform.
