Artist Spotlight | Weston Loney

Ahead of his show at the Attic Bar at The Garage on Thursday 4th June, we caught up with Weston Loney to chat about touring, Thin Lizzy and tonic wine.
We can't wait to see you headline the Attic Bar at The Garage in June. What can fans expect from the show?
An evening of tonic wine fulled madness, all being well.
What’s the story behind your latest single, Wandering Man?
It feels slightly cliche but in short - Irish fella meets a London girl in Belfast, she leaves after 3 years and has him wandering around their old favourite places alone. Bringing back the good times in his head that he can’t seem to find again.
Are there any artists that inspire your music/songwriting? Who and why?
Of course! At the minute I’m absolutely loving Jason Isbell but grew up on the classic heavyweights like The Eagles, Thin Lizzy, Lynard Skynyrd and all the rest.
What’s the first album you ever bought?
Razorlight - Razorlight. Still to the day one of the best albums of all time in my opinion. Razorlight were also the first act I’d ever seen live as a kid, my mind was blown.
How is the rest of 2026 looking for you? Anything exciting you can tell us about?
Got loads of songs recorded ready to release and cannot wait to try them out live on the upcoming tour.
Don't miss Weston Loney in Glasgow on Thursday 4th June.
