Marti Perramon

A major new talent, 20-year-old Marti Perramon was born in Spain before settling in South London. After his parents separated, Marti joined a school without knowing a word of English. He proved, however, that he was fluent in melody, absorbing everything from his mum's tradition of flamenco to the timeless songwriting of Ray Charles. Self-taught in both lyrics and music, Marti Perramon now marries the hyper-sensitivity of his upbringing with boundless musicality. Today, his influences range from the intricate songwriting of Clairo to emotionally open rap heroes like Mac Miller.
