Since their reformation in 2012, The Afghan Whigs have stormed back to life with several world tours, major festival appearances and released three new critically acclaimed albums Do To The Beast (2014), In Spades (2017) and 2022’s How Do You Burn?

The band just recently released a new double A-side single Fake Like / Downtown on December 10th which is the first new music from the group since the release of their 2022 album How Do You Burn?, which received immense critical acclaim from Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, Los Angeles Times, SPIN, Stereogum, Billboard and more. 

Next year, 2026, marks the 40th anniversary of The Afghan Whigs.  Many plans are in the works for the band already and will be announced in the new year.
