Favourite ArtistLike crossing live wires, South Arcade generate pure electricity by plugging pop-punk, rock, nu-metal, and alternative into an eclectic and ecstatic hybrid without comparison.
Selling out shows worldwide and stacking up over 150 million streams, the Oxford, UK quartet—Harmony Cavelle [vocals], Harry Winks [guitar], Cody Jones [drums], and Ollie Green [bass]—have vaulted to the doorstep of global stardom powered by hyper-charged performances and the kind of generational bangers that could light up TikTok or Warped Tour and OZZfest in the same weekend. As the story goes, childhood friends Harmony and Harry grew up together and performed in a succession of groups. While attending university, they posted an ad in search of kindred spirits interested in conjuring a sound akin to “Royal Blood meets Charli xcx. ” Cody and Ollie would dutifully heed the call, locking South Arcade’s lineup in place during 2022. A diligent grind saw them gain traction with the singles like “DANGER” and “Nepo Baby,” paving the way for the standout 2005 EP in 2024, which boasted a trio of hits that have each eclipsed 20M streams and counting in “HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER” (20M+), “stone cold summer” (24M+), and title track “2005” (26M+). The band only increased their momentum with a string of high energy singles (“Supermodels,” “FEAR OF HEIGHTS,” and “Drive Myself Home”) released individually throughout 2025 before being gathered together alongside brand new tracks “Bleed Out” and the surprisingly intimate "Blood Runs Warm” on their PLAY EP at the end of the year.
On both sides of the pond, unanimous tastemaker praise has followed in the collective’s wake. Alternative Press pegged them among “26 of the most exciting rising artists to watch in 2026,” going on to christen them “a formidable facet of the future pop-punk landscape. ” Beyond a popular Audiotree Live performance and love from BBC Radio 1, KERRANG! assured, “given their status as a band on the tip of many tongues – that more capacious rooms beckon,” and DORK marveled at how, “South Arcade are already speeding through the boss levels.” They’ve already sold out tours on multiple continents - including their first-ever North American headline run last fall - and have a packed 2026 ahead of them: supporting 5 Seconds of Summer on their arena tour in the UK and Europe this spring; hitting festival stages at Download and TRNSMT, and returning stateside for Summer School ‘26 and the Vans Warped Tour.
