London-born, Glasgow-based singer Quiet Man really found his voice when he moved to Glasgow in 2022. Charlie (aka Quiet Man), armed only with a free piano from Gumtree, stripped his sound back and sang from the heart, and hasn't looked back. Artists such as Fred Again.., Medium Build, and Harrison Storm agreed and have had him supporting them over the past 18 months in the UK and Ireland. Quiet Man released the Oversensitive EP, which came out in May 2025 to great reaction from peers, social media, and industry professionals alike, with features  on New Music Friday UK and Fresh Finds UK on Spotify and New in Alternative and Acoustic Chill on Apple, as well as getting played by BBC Introducing and being shortlisted for BBC Intro Scottish Act of the Year 2025. Subsequent singles throughout 2025 have continued to be championed by BBC Introducing in London and Scotland and secured him slots at Pitchfork Paris, Live at Leeds, and many more. With a lot more music to come in 2026, it’s sure to be a busy year.
