Indoor Foxes returns with “Superfan”, a song about pure obsession and the strange places it can take you. Written after a conversation with a friend who had a stalker, the track explores both sides of obsession and the uncomfortable recognition of how easily intense feelings can become irrational. “I sort of related to their point of view, but I also felt like, in seeing the messages they’d had, that maybe I’d acted like that before. It’s a song about pure obsession, holding both points of view concurrently.”

Superfan lives in that messy space where wanting someone becomes all consuming. It’s rereading old conversations months later, looking for an ex in everyone else and trying to find something that feels like love in the aftermath. Known for her blend of grunge grit and pop glamour, described as “Courtney Love meets Paris Hilton,” Indoor Foxes has quickly established herself as one of Scotland’s most exciting emerging artists. Recent years have seen her perform at Reading & Leeds, TRNSMT and Waves Vienna, sell out headline shows at King Tut’s and Paper Dress Vintage, and receive national airplay across BBC Radio 1, Radio 2, 6 Music and BBC Scotland.

Having previously supported the likes of Sports Team and Fatherson, Indoor Foxes will next support The Libertines and appear at Hitchin Live at the Priory, continuing a run that has also seen her sign with Primary Talent International and become a finalist for BBC Introducing’s Scottish Act of the Year. Following the heartbreak and fury of Feet On The Dash, Superfan turns towards what happens when you can’t quite let somebody go.
