Fraser MacCallum

Fraser MacCallum is a singer, songwriter and singer-songwriter hailing from Milngavie, East Dunbartonshire. Describing his sound as “jangly post-punk with folk-y flavourings”, he draws inspiration from 70’s/80’s post-punk, French chanson and 60’s folk acts. Despite this diverse sonic palate his work is underpinned by his distinctive voice and earnest, referential writing style. Releasing his debut studio album “Bag of Hot Snow” in 2023 and the whimsical single “Goat on a Tower” in the front end of 2025, MacCallum remains as he has always been: tweed-clad, quaint and deeply Idiosyncratic.
