Anoraq is a Glasgow-based 5 piece whose sound weaves spoken word and vocal melodies with percussive grooves and organic ambient undertones. Their music is in conversation with itself, moving between genres, rhythms, languages, and environments. The band are hosts of Inside Voices - a monthly night of improvised ambient music and poetry at the iconic King Tut's. The night opens up conversations about boundaries. During their residency, Anoraq invite poets and artists to perform alongside them who speak to this pursuit in diverse ways.
