Sara Rae

Born and bred in North Glasgow, Sara Rae is an excellent example of what the Glasgow music scene has to offer. Rae’s soulful storytelling and earworm hooks lay out bare her life experiences and emotive conflict of trying to navigate in an industry so closed off to working class artists. Her big voice and even bigger personality ensure that Rae continues to make herself heard by being unapologetically herself. With an onstage presence that has been described as “having the audience eating out the palm of her hand”.
