NEW MUSIC THIS WEEK

It’s our favourite time of the week… New Music Friday! Head over to our Spotify channel and check out our New Music Friday playlist to hear the latest releases from our Gigs in Scotland touring artists

London alt-rockers Weird Milk make their welcome return with punchy EP lead single ‘Vienna.' The first track taken from the group’s We Were Strangers EP slated to arrive this autumn, ‘Vienna’ displays their trademark anthemic tendencies and pristine songwriting in full force once more. The band play The Poetry Club on 19th November. Tickets available here

Unknown Mortal Orchestra returns to share a new single 'Weekend Run' marking their first taste of new music this year and perfectly showcases UMO's signature modern soul over the course of a five-minute sonic journey. The song is out now via Jagjaguwar and embodies the breadth of what Unknown Mortal Orchestra has displayed over the course of their career -- a radio-ready earworm of a chorus, a subtle nod to disco in its groove and an idiosyncratic bridge that could only belong to Ruban Nielson

Twin Atlantic have returned in style. After last year’s impeccable studio album POWER, the boys drop ‘Bang On The Gong’ - the track oozes style, charisma and swagger in a way they’ve never delivered before, marking the start of a new chapter in the Scots’ prolific career. Watch the video below, directed by Nick Afchain. Twin play TRNSMT on 11th September. Get your tickets here
