NEW MUSIC THIS WEEK

It’s our favourite time of the week… New Music Friday! Head over to our Spotify channel and check out our New Music Friday playlist to hear the latest releases from our Gigs in Scotland touring artists

Glasgow trio Baby Strange are back with a bang in 2021 as they unveil their latest single, the grittily vibrant ‘Club Sabbath’. Vocalist and guitarist Johnny Madden says of the future dancefloor filler: “When we wrote this track we instantly knew we wanted to name it after our club night. It sounds like it was made for a dancefloor. This is one of our favourite songs to date and we can’t wait for people to hear it.” The band have also announced the release of a brand new EP Land of Nothing which features ‘Club Sabbath’ and recent single ‘More! More! More!’ and will be out via Icons Creating Evil Art on 30th April

‘All My Favorite Songs’ is the lead single from Weezer’s surprise new album Ok Human set for release next Friday. Singer Rivers Cuomo calls the record one that was made by a handful of humans using only analog technologies (including a 38 piece orchestra) for all of you humans to consume.” The video to the song keeps up with the subtle dig at our current digital age by showing the effect phones and social media can have on physical human interaction

Mason Hill return with ‘DNA’, a heavy hitting rock anthem taken from forthcoming debut album Against The Wall. Lead singer Scott Taylor commented “‘D.N.A.’ is a bit of a demented rock song about being hooked on something to the point where it almost feels like it’s part of your very fabric hence the reference to feeling like part of your DNA.” The new song is the third single to be premiered from the album which is set for release on 5th March via 7Hz Recordings

An emotional, trippy slice of electronica from French producer Rone carried by the voice of London artist Georgia: ‘Waves of Devotion’ sails through an ocean of gorgeous lyrics and a deliciously "pop" romance. Built on the raw material of ‘Ginkgo Biloba’, the flagship track from album Room With A View, this instrumental piece, its irresistible melody and celestial chorus always carried the expression of an epilogue in song

Lancey Foux has just dropped new track ‘Steelo Flow.’ The new video compliments the futuristic feel of the song perfectly with the East London rapper sitting astride a motorbike in a setting that looks like it’s been taken straight out of Blade Runner. Check it out!
