Last week we asked you…
And, this is what you told us…
P&J Live - EVERYTHING...the load in, sound check, watching the queues start, doors open, keen beans running to the barrier to get the best views, seeing some great new talent in support slots, when it finally goes dark and the main act strikes the first cord, the crowd pleasers, hearing the fans sing along, seeing thousands of happy faces...EVERYTHING!!!
Kenny - That’s easy, I miss photographing gigs
Kelly - The sheer excitement as the curtain falls and your fave band/act are about to appear on stage...god I miss fun!
Kirsty - Everything!!! Standing outside venue, waiting on doors to open, running to the front of stage, squished against the barriers, rocking out, forgetting everything else except the moment you are in with your favourite artist
Linda - Live music and lively musicians
Chris - I miss the immersion of being at a live event. Up front and close to the act, from an orchestra to a reggae band, shutting off the world, and the only thing that exists is you and the act
Maree - Being able to shut out all the drama/hard times/upset of real life for just a few hours and just lose yourself in the moment with a whole bunch of people you’ve probably never met but have at least one thing in common with if only for a night
Craig - Just being there and watching a band do their thing
Billy - The meet-ups before hand. Having a few swallies and some scran before heading to the venue
Jim - That pre gig buzz as the house lights go down
John - The shared energy in the room
Dave - Standing in a crowd of like minded souls watching a band you love belting out tunes you know all the words to
Fiona - The anticipation and just losing yourself in the live music ❤️
Eileen - The whole buzz and atmosphere and listening to fantastic music
Laura - Absolutely everything of the day and night of the gig and then the memories it leaves forever and feeling like it was only yesterday
Sharon - Kelly Jones!! I miss him!
Jemma - Belting out your fav song by whoever your seeing
Karen - When the lights go down for the band coming onstage and the audience erupts into cheers, I miss that anticipation and the electricity it creates
Deek - The really tall bloke with big hair who arrives just as the band is about to start and stands right in front of me!!
