Guns N' Roses - Glasgow Green

The Guns N’ Roses show at Glasgow Green due to take place tomorrow (Tuesday 5th July) will no longer be going ahead. 

A statement from the band said: “ Sadly, due to illness and medical advice, GNR will not be able to perform in Glasgow, tomorrow 5-July-2022. We are working on rescheduling options for this show so please hold onto your tickets and wait for a further update”

Ticket buyers have been contacted with an update on their ticket and all tickets for the rescheduled show will be valid.

Guns N' Roses have announced they will be returning to Glasgow to play their largest Scottish show to date at Glasgow Green on Tuesday 5th July 2022, marking the next step in their phenomenal career. 
Here's some important information on the show. Make sure you check back as more information will be added closer to the show.

Important Travel Information Ahead of Guns N' Roses at Glasgow Green

Please take the time and read over this guide to avoid any delays on entry and exit from the site and minimise the impact on the local transport network where possible.

Rail:

There are last minute cancellations and extremely limited rail services across Scotland at the moment. Please plan ahead and don’t rely on trains to get you to and from Glasgow Green, check the ScotRail website for the latest information, and look at alternative travel options. 

Bus:

First Bus services: 2,18,60,61,64,240,255 and 263 all stop within a five minute walking radius to Glasgow Green.

Subway:

Glasgow Green can be accessed from 2 subway stations both within a fifteen minute walking radius.

St Enoch Station

Pick up / Drop offs:

We have identified 4 key pick up and drop off points which should be used...

North - Duke Street at High Street

South – Caledonia Road

East – London Road east of Bridgeton Rail Station

West – Broomielaw west of Oswald Street

Glasgow Green will be serviced by 7 car parks all within a fifteen minute walking radius.

Walking Routes

The easiest way to get to Glasgow Green from Glasgow City Centre is by walking. Check out the walking routes here.

Age restrictions:

No persons under 5 permitted.
Persons aged 5-15 year olds must be accompanied by an adult 21 and over (1 adult minimum per 4 persons aged 5-15 years old).
If you’re lucky enough to look under 25 you may be asked for proof of age at the gates so please don’t risk it - bring acceptable photographic ID.
If you’re attending with someone aged 5-15 years old, we encourage you to complete a guardianship form. Further details will be provided online closer to the Event.
A challenge 25 policy will be in operation at the bars ensuring access is restricted to persons 18 and over.  Proof of age may be required so please bring acceptable photographic ID.

 

ID:

We will be accepting the following types of ID for entry into the event:

  • Current UK or Overseas Driving License
  • Current UK or Overseas Current Passport
  • Overseas Only Valid National ID card
  • UK only 18 + PASS scheme card
  • Young Scot Cards
  • Ireland Age Card
  • Forces ID Card

This is line with the national Challenge 25 policy.

*Photocopies or photo's of ID do not count as valid ID. It must be original documents
Fake I.D will be confiscated.

What can't I bring?

Please don’t bring a bag unless it is absolutely essential. Bags larger than the size of a sheet of A4 paper will not be permitted. 

No chairs, professional cameras, drugs, flares (you’ll get charged by the Police), glass or metal/hard plastic bottles (incl perfume/fragrance), smoke canisters (you’ll get charged by the police), flags, selfie sticks, umbrellas, weapons, frisbees/boomerangs.
