Rage Against the Machine - RHC
Connect Festival presents: Rage Against the Machine at the Royal Highland Centre Showground on Wednesday 24th August 2022.
- No persons under 14.
- Persons aged 14-15 years old must be accompanied by an adult 21+
- One adult per 4 persons under 14-15 years old.
- Customers aged 16 and above do not need to be accompanied by an adult.
We will be accepting the following types of ID for entry into the event:
- Current UK or Overseas Driving License
- Current UK or Overseas Current Passport
- Overseas Only Valid National ID card
- UK only 18 + PASS scheme card
- Young Scot Cards
- Ireland Age Card
- Forces ID Card
This is line with the national Challenge 25 policy.
*Photocopies or photo's of ID do not count as valid ID. It must be original documents
Fake I.D will be confiscated.

WHAT CAN I BRING?
Blankets, cameras, dancing shoes, ear plugs, hand sanitiser, hats, lip balm, make up, smiles, sunscreen, sunglasses, an empty bottle no bigger than 500ml (not a fancy reusable one though as glass/metal/hard plastic bottles aren't permitted!), wipes and more! Check out the next question…
WHAT CAN’T I BRING?
Please don’t bring a bag unless it is absolutely essential. Bags larger than the size of a sheet of A4 paper will not be permitted.
No chairs, professional cameras, drugs, flares (you’ll get charged by the Police), glass or metal/hard plastic bottles (incl perfume/fragrance), smoke canisters (you’ll get charged by the police), flags, selfie sticks, umbrellas, weapons, frisbees/boomerangs.

Customers can purchase Accessible Platform tickets online through Ticketmaster by selecting a Wheelchair/Ambulant Platform Access ticket. Buy tickets here.
Please do not buy a ticket for your Personal Assistant (PA). (One person will be allowed one free Personal Assistant ticket to ensure fairness amongst all accessible customers unless otherwise pre-agreed due to accessibility requirements, please get in touch with the Ticketmaster Access Team if you require more than one PA ticket)
By purchasing an accessible ticket, you confirm you or a member of your party requires this position. The accessible ticket policy limits one free Personal Assistant ticket to each accessible ticket purchased. Proof of eligibility/disability must be provided before the event, if you bought tickets online, you will be contacted by Ticketmaster no later than 72 hours after your order. Tickets may be cancelled if misuse is suspected/found
Personal assistant (PA)/companion tickets are provided with the expectation that they are willing and able to assist you, throughout your visit and in the event of an evacuation they are your main point of assistance. Crowd management personnel located near the viewing platform will assist in moving everybody to a place of safety

Customers requiring access to the wheelchair platform:
Accessible Platform tickets for wheelchair and ambulant disabled customers are available to buy via Ticketmaster.
Once purchased you will be contacted within 72 hours to provide proof of disability for your companion. Tickets may be cancelled if misuse is suspected/found. You can also call 0800 988 4440 or (0044 161 637 2697 overseas) all tickets subject to availability. We expect demand to be high and tickets to sell out quickly on-line.

Accessible customers not requiring access to a wheelchair/ambulant platform but require a pa/companion ticket:
Customers who require a PA/Companion to attend the event but don't need access to the Accessible Platform should purchase their own ticket and then request the PA/Companion ticket via the Accessible Facilities Form here. Please do not purchase the PA/Companion ticket. The Access team at The Big Top, will process this for you instead of Ticketmaster and will be asked to provide supporting documentation of disability for your companion ticket.
Rage Against the Machine accessible guide with event-specific information will be sent out (via email) prior to the event to all confirmed applicants including arrival info, access maps, distances, access facilities and more We recommend saving and printing a copy of the Access Guide for your own reference (once available). No hard copies will be available on-site.

This is an all-standing event with limited seating around the main arena and VIP. Chairs are not allowed into the event.
