Born during lockdown, Pastel have quickly carved out a name as one of the UK’s most exciting new guitar bands, blending rock & roll with what Steve Lamacq described as “latter-day shoegaze with a bit of swagger to it.” Their debut album Souls in Motion went straight to No. 1 on the Official Record Store Chart, a huge achievement for an independent band and a clear sign of the movement building around them. Liam Gallagher personally handpicked Pastel to open his historic headline shows at Knebworth and Cardiff Bay, a landmark moment that introduced the band to tens of thousands of new fans. Ahead of this new tour, Pastel arematch-fit after a triumphant UK tour as main support for Cast, who recently have been on the road with Oasis Live 25 for their era-defining comeback tour, placing Pastel firmly in the lineage of British rock’s most iconic names. Pastel have also proven that they’re not just a great band on stage, but a highly marketable presence off it. With a strong visual identity, natural charisma, and a loyal, style-conscious fanbase, they’ve become a go-to act for major brands looking to stay culturally sharp and connected to the next wave of youth culture. They’ve featured in campaigns for Adidas, Berghaus, Pretty Green, Nudie Jeans and Kickers, with a look and attitude that sit naturally at the intersection of fashion, music and street culture. They also starred in the Trailer Park Boys movie, performing alongside Ronnie Wood of The Rolling Stones, showing they’re just as comfortable in front of the camera as they are on stage. With regular play across national radio and fans flying in from across Europe, the US, and Canada, the world is starting to catch on to what Pastel are building. Ahead of the 2026 tour there is teasing across the bands social media of long awaited new music, James Yates of Pastel says: “Since releasing Souls In Motion earlier this year, everything feels like it’s leveled up for us. We want to celebrate this as well as begin the next phase of what's to come. Make sure you are a part of it”.
