Dance legend Avicii and urban superstar Tinie Tempah have been confirmed as the final headliners for this year’s Glasgow Summer Sessions at Bellahouston Park on Saturday 17th August. The man who brought us Levels, will headline the new festival on Saturday 17th August for his debut gig on Scottish soil. Joining him for what promises to be one of this summer’s best days out, is Tinie Tempah.

This announcement concludes the line-up of events for Glasgow Summer Sessions, the latest venture of DF Concerts & Events.  Avicii and Tinie Tempah will be joining Kings of Leon (15th August) and Eminem (20th August) for the all-encompassing urban festival line up in the city’s beautiful Bellahouston Park.

Avicii reached global status in 2010 followed by his first release, Street Dancer, going straight to number one on the worldwide Beatport charts in 2011. The Swedish DJ, voted number 3 in DJ Mag’s 2012 Top 100, is a favourite with dance fans who have been anticipating his arrival on Scottish turf.

Tinie Tempah’s first album, Disc-Overy, debuted at number one in the UK in October 2010 and was preceded by two British number-one singles. He won a Brit Award for Best British Breakthrough Act in 2011 and he is a crowd favourite in Scotland, after playing T in the Park in both 2011 and 2012.

Bus and VIP packages will be available in conjunction with Citylink from all major cities in Scotland and the North of England direct to Bellahouston Park. Tickets will be available to purchase along with event briefs by calling 08444 999 990

Additionally, a shuttle bus service will be available on the day of the event making return journeys from Buchanan Street Bus Station to Bellahouston Park. The fare will be payable upon boarding.
