Marc O’Reilly’s sound is inspired folk ‘n’ blues with African percussive rhythms. It’s right there between old American folk-blues and The Black Keys, Andy McKee and Tom Waits. As a live performer he already has an intense and spellbinding reputation; as a songwriter he stands out as unique and moving talent and as a voice he is both urgent and persuasive in the same breath. At the end of it all Marc is a contender.
