With an incredible 15 new songs on ‘The Day The Earth Stood Stupid’ it comes complete with all the Bombskare good stuff. As you can tell by the artwork, the band have taken stylistic cues from 50s B-movies and Sci-Fi and continue a theme established on the first album, (where the band reference books by Scottish author Alastair MacLean), they’ve written a track called ‘Where Eagles Dare’ also referencing the theme from ‘Flash Gordon.’
All in all, Bombskare is a band that doesn’t take themselves too seriously, they work hard and party even harder and you’re guaranteed the most energetic, fun gig you’re likely to experience anywhere.
