ABOUTTHE BAND: Waiting For Go are a young 5 piece band from Glasgow, who have beentogether in their current form from February 2012, that blend aspects of indierock and dance pop to create their energetic sound.
In the short time they’ve been together haveopened for well-known acts such as King Charles, Hadouken! and Devlin at soldout shows, as well as headlining their own show at The Arches and headlining asold out opening night of this years King Tut’s New Years Revolution festival.
Theband quickly gathered the attention of acclaimed producers Michael Bannisterand Ross Hamilton of the band Texas (Previous work includes Franz Ferdinand,The View, Dianna Vickers, Newton Faulkner, Dirty Pretty Things, Emeli Sande)andworked with them to release their debut single ‘Let You Go’ in June 2012. Thesingle gained airplay from stations including Real Radio, Clyde 1, amazingradio, BBC radio Scotland and also the attention from various blogs across theUK and Europe.
Theyare currently preparing for the Launch of their follow up single.
