After a hugely successful first album touring cycle, which saw the band play some of the biggest venues in the United States, Canada, Australia, Asia, Europe and the United Kingdom, Boyce Avenue are back with a brand new European tour beginning in March 2014 that sees them getting to make a triumphant return to some of their favorite cities as well as add a few exciting new places an ever growing list of Boyce Avenue shows around the globe.
After a year of recording and coaching on X Factor USA, the band returned with a sold out fall tour across the UK, Ireland, USA and Canada as well as shows in Brazil and Southeast Asia. Now, Along with releasing their recent single One Life, Boyce Avenue plan to release more music in 2014 as well as embark on their most ambitious continent spanning tour yet.
Boyce Avenue, a Florida-based band, consists of three brothers Alejandro, Fabian, and Daniel Manzano. The brothers first came together as a band in 2004 when Alejandro (lead vocals, guitar, piano), Fabian (guitar, vocals), and their older brother Daniel (bass, percussion, vocals) reconnected after Daniel graduated from Harvard Law School and moved back to Florida where Fabian and Alejandro were both attending classes at the University of Florida. It was there that the brothers continued to write music and to perform local shows, taking their most formative steps toward becoming a band.
In 2007, in an effort to share their music and ideas with the world, the band decided to start filming and posting videos on YouTube of them performing their own songs as well as some of their favorite songs by other popular artists. The videos began to resonate instantly with YouTube viewers and to date the band’s YouTube channel has amassed over 1,000,000,000 views and over 4,250,000 subscribers, making them the biggest band on the network. The band has also amassed almost 500,000 twitter followers and 2 million Facebook subscribers, forging a lasting and passionate digital fan base.
In 2010 the band released their major label debut album, All We Have Left, on Universal Republic records, featuring the single Every Breath with a music video shot by acclaimed director Zach Merck (Blue October, Safetysuit) based on an idea created by the band. After trying the major label route, the band elected to buy back their album and have released all their music since then through their own 3 Peace Records record label. The band has also recently released the single One Life, with more music releases planned for 2014.
Over the last 3 plus years the band has toured on an extensive worldwide basis and played for over 300,000 people in more than 20 countries and on five continents. While the band loves connecting with their fans online, nothing pleases them more than getting out and putting on a one of a kind show for as many people as possible.
