Broken Hands have just finished a series of London residency gigs,which saw them bring their intense and mesmeric live show to three packed out datesat Power Lunches. A live experience in the truest sense, Broken Hands invitedthe audience into their world for a series of specially curated shows the bandlabelled JETPOWEREDLUNCHES. The band recently performed at Hyde Park alongsideBlur, having previously shared stages with the likes of Black Sabbath, TheRolling Stones and Band of Skulls.
Last week, Broken Hands unveiled the video to current single‘Meteor’, which can be viewed now on YouTube / VEVO. The track has had incrediblesupport from BBC Radio 1, XFM and BBC Radio 6Music – with the track winningSteve Lamacq’s Rebel Playlist, earning it a play on every daytime BBC Radio6Music show for the next week.
Broken Hands debut album Turbulencewas produced by Tom Dalgety (Royal Blood, The Maccabees, Turbowolf) and isreleased via So Recordings on 9th October 2015. Combining thecrunchy riffage of Black Sabbath, the cosmic hedonism of Primal Scream and anunbridled energy which is completely their own, Turbulence is a fully realised vision from one of Britain’s mostexciting young bands.
