The Black Hand Gang – winners of this year’s Road to Hogmanay competition - are getting set to launch their debut EP in the Classic Grand on Saturday 10th of April.  Already available for sale online from Amazon and iTunes, the EP can also be purchased over the counter in FOPP and Avalanche.
 
TBHG have been together for little over a year, making a big noise in Glasgow’s dense music scene, regularly filling out the city’s top venues.  Having played with many established acts – from Bloc Party to Sleepy Sun – they also performed in front of 15,000 people at this year’s Hogmanay Celebrations on the open air stage at George Square, after seeing off tough competition to win the coveted spot.
 
Their sound is a celebration of blues, country and rock & roll, having often been likened to early Kings of Leon.  Stand out tracks include Bloody Hands, Bricks and Mortar and Swords.
